If you want players to be able to connect to your server without typing in a numerical IP address and port, then you have two options. The first option is to purchase a custom domain from a domain registrar and point it at your server. The second option is to use our subdomain feature to create a custom subdomain.

In order to create a subdomain on Pufferfish Host, please use the following steps:

  1. Log into your account on our panel.
  2. Select the server you want to create a subdomain for
  3. Enter your desired subdomain and click the "Create" button
  4. You'll be able to see that your subdomain was created.

Subdomains may take a few hours before they begin working. If your subdomain still isn't working after 24 hours, please contact our support.
